I was gonna write a big thing about last year, but I won't....don't want to think about the bad bits...but there were some highlights...
I got a permanent job!
Met some lovely people and made some great new friends!
Have been to some brilliant gigs, including bands I never thought I'd see:
Alien Sex Fiend
Soil/Godhead
Give It A Name (HIM / Mindless Self Indulgence)
Combichrist
Deathstars/Mortiis
Mindless Self Indulgence
Type O Negative/Paradise Lost
Dimmu Borgir/Amon Amarth
Assemblage 23
Siouxsie Sioux
Porcupine Tree/Anathema
Covenant
Paradise Lost
The March Violets/Chris Reed Unit/James Ray/Salvation/Screaming Banshee Aircrew
Apocalyptica
HIM (in Manchester)
HIM (in London)
VNV Nation
and of course Download (My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost and Dimmu Borgir were the highlights there...and meeting Paradise Lost and Dimmu Borgir was just brilliant :D )
wow, written all down like that, that looks amazing :)
Lets hope I go to lots more great gigs this year! :) Don't have any lined up at the moment though, although my mum wants to go see Apocalyptica again, so we will probably go to their gig in March...and I'm desparately trying to get hold of some tickets for the Cure!
Another thing I'm quite proud of is that I've read over 90 books this year! :) You might think its sad, but I think its cool! :) My aim for next year is over 100...thats about 2 books a week...will hopefully be able to do that! :)
And I've also managed to save quite a lot of money, which is good!
Heres to a good 2008....
