day 02 → your favourite movie
As with the songs, I have several favourite films...
1. Shaun of the Dead
2. Fight Club
3. Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day
Shaun of the Dead is just a brilliant example of great British comedy. Its got a great cast, great acting and a great storyline. I like it as they're just so normal, not superheros or anything, just normal people, trying to cope in a world which has suddenly become not normal! And I love the bit about throwing records at the heads of zombies :D
Fight Club is fantastic. The story, although relatively simple, really speaks to me, and others, although I obviously don't want to fight everyone! The dialogue has some great quotable lines, and the twist (although not a twist as *everyone* must know it now) is very clever. "This is your life, and it's ending one day at a time..."
Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day is just a perfect example of a children's cartoon...it is funny, it has some lovely characters, it has a bit of "mild peril", haha. I have loved this film for my whole life - my nan has a photo on her fridge of me giggling at it when I was about 5, and then another from when I was about 18, haha! The bit when Winnie the Pooh and Piglet are in Owls house is just so funny :D Everyone needs to get in touch with their childish side every so often!
As I know I'm not going to be able to go on the internet tomorrow...here is day 3!
day 03 → your favourite television program
And again...I have many!
I usually tend to watch historical dramas, comedies, documentaries, and quiz show type things. My favourite ones which are on at the moment are QI and Downton Abbey. QI is great, the comedians they get on there are really good and I like how its really intelligent! Downton Abbey is one of my favourite types of programmes, about the family and staff in a large house at the beginning of the 20th century. Theres lots of scandal and upset while they're trying to marry the eldest daughter off to someone and she keeps running off with other people!
I can't think what are my favourite tv programmes of all time...although things like Monty Python, Spaced, Black Books, and Coast and similar are really great, I'm sure I'm missing some out! Monty Python is definately up there at the top though!
