..these couple of weeks have been really busy, which is a bit unusual! I've still managed to read a couple of books though:
Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides - 5/10 as its quite boring..but theres an element which makes me think it might be a true-ish story, which would make it more interesting
Azincourt by Bernard Cornwell - 7/10, this was good, very well written and described, but i prefer the social side of this time in history, and not so much the battles. But definately recommended for someone who likes military history.
Currently reading "The Real Oliver Twist", non-fiction, which is interesting.
Last weekend it was Katie's birthday and party, which was really excellent :D When I do the proper entry I will add some pictures. And we saw Alice in Wonderland, in 3d at the IMAX in Bradford. Which was also excellent :D I definately recommend it.
Its my birthday tomorrow, hopefully that'll be a nice day. I made some cakes to take to work, which I'm really pleased with, they came out really well! In the evening I was planning to see friends, but no one really could come or wanted to come, so instead I'm going to a Thai Restaurant in the Old Town in Hemel, with my parents. Which should be nice :) Then at the weekend am going to Manchester with Katie and her friend Hannah on Friday, Leeds and the Wendyhouse on Saturday, and then will come back home (and sleep hopefully, hehe) on Sunday. So that all should be a fun time :)
The more I think about it the more I come to the belief that your family is the only ones who truely love you and will always be there for you. Treasure what you have in your family...when everyone else gives up on you they will always be there :)
