Oh yeah I definitely sometimes "cheat" and read something like crime or "chick-lit" type fiction which I can read in a day, to get my total books up. I'm trying not to do it now though - even though if I did I know I'd get to 120!
I don't remember being able to read earlier than everyone else either - but I think once I did know how to read, I didn't stop! I used to read everything, like the back cereal packets on the breakfast table as well, hehe. My parents said I was only allowed 6 books out of the library on my card (when it was really 12!) to stop me reading so much and not doing anything else.
I think in the last year my sister, and especially my mum have read a lot more than they have done previously - I think its because I've started to write my book reviews and so talk about what I'm reading at home loads, so they get interested in books I'm reading. I really like it when I recommend books to people and they love them as well, thats great! :)
