well I'm over halfway through now and I still don't like it but I can't give up on it now....I think I do prefer books with proper story! And it all just seems a bit gratuitious, like he's just writing it like that to shock people. So I'll finish this book, but don't think I'll go out of my way to read anything else by him! On Amazon its compared to On The Road, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and I disliked On The Road, and loved Fear and Loathing, which is weird!
