Writer's Block: Cinco de Mayo

No - because we don't have one! :) I live in the UK, so our country is probably the one which many countries are celebrating their independence from!

I don't even really celebrate St Georges Day - its just sort of been taken over by football hooligan type people, and I don't associate myself with any of that kind of patriotism at all. However I do wholeheartedly celebrate any Royal occasions, and am glad that we're getting an extra bank holiday for the 60th Anniversary of the Queen's Accession to the throne in 2012 :)

hehe i never thought about it that way. i live in australia and we don't have an independence day either... obviously cause we never declared independence!

hehe yeah we do. the last time the prime minister got us to vote on whether we should become a republic or not we voted stay with the queen so i guess people still like her :) although that was a while ago now! i think most people forget about it really.
